Small Groups
& Bible Studies
Our small groups are informal gatherings of people who are interested in helping each other go through the experiences of life and understanding what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Please feel free to join us. Everyone is welcome. Please contact the person(s) listed for more information. Small Groups & Bible Studies for Youth and College are available. Evenings Exploring Evolution
April 5th: Ben Stein's "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" This movie rejects the notion that "the case is closed," and exposes the widespread persecution of scientiest and educators who are purusing legitimate, opposing scientific views to the reigning orthodoxy. Vartabedian - Discussion will focus on the legal ramifications of evolution. May 17th: Rev. Aren Balabanian
- Discussion will focus on the social and religious implications
of evolution. Dr. Hagop Afarian holds undergraduate
and graduate degrees from Stanford University. He is a medical doctor
in the Fresno area. The Honorable Judge Steven Vartabedian
is an Associate Justice with the Fifth Appellate District.
Admitted to the California Bar in 1975, he graduated J.D. magnu cum
laude from Santa Clara University School of Law. Rev. Aren Balabanian holds a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from UCLA and a Master of Divinity
from Talbot Theological Seminary. He serves as the Associate Pastor
of the First Armenian Presbyterian Church in Fresno. Contact Pastor
