Prayer
"For
this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in
heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according
to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit
in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith:
and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend
with all the saints what is the breath and length and height and depth, and
to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled
up to all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that
we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be
the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever
and ever."
We are bulding
because we feel that God is leading us forward in opportunities
to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a new facility
is needed as a tool for that ministry. It is our desire to move
forward according to God's direction and timing.
Please join
us in prayer for what God is doing and will do. Below are
suggestions to help unite us in prayer.
PRAYER
CURRENT PRAYER NEEDS:
- Please Pray for a continued solid
testimony of God's awesome graciousness and for His Gospel to be declared
as we use His tool in service to Him. May God be glorified.
- Pray for the safety of those working
on projects in the old building.
- Pray for the balance of the loan
on Phase One to be paid off.
- Pray for God's timing on starting
Phase Two.

PRAISE
GOD FOR:
- Praise God for the awesome Service
of Dedication on April 29, 2007.
- Praise God. The building is
completed and we are worshipping in the new sanctuary.
- Praise God for the tremendous number
of individuals who helped at each work day.
- The workers have been kept safe.
- The weather which God has blessed
us with which allowed construction to continue and for us to continue to
meet for worship in the courtyard.
- AWANA Continues each Wednesday Night
without the weather keeping us inside.
- The continuing unity and cooperation
we are experiencing as a congregation.
- God's continued financial blessing
and provision. Over $290,000 has been pledged. To date about 1/2 of
the pledged monies have been given.

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray that
we will focus on Jesus, surrendering our will to His leading
Pray for creative
thinking and ministry enhancement
Pray for the
strengthening of our faith in what God is doing and will do through
us
Pray for unity
and the preparation of the hearts of God's people
Pray for our
Fundraising Committee's widsom and guidance
Pray that
God will lead new families into our fellowship
Praise God
that He is causing us to grow in faith
Safety for all those participating in the work evenings
That we might be witnesses, reaching out with courage to those
working on the building, at the city, anyone who comes through the
doors of our church. May God increase the impact of His church
on our community.
Pray for those in leadership: Pastors, Board, Campaign
Committee, Building Committee
That our attitudes might honor the Lord. This is God's
ministry! That God will bring freshness in our lives through this
journey. That with excitement we see God at work and wait with
anticipation to see where He is taking us and how. Let us keep
our focus.
Put on the full armor of God. That we may be protected
from the evil thrown our way and from the Advesary.
Pray that God will continue to grow us in the discipline and
obedience of stewardship. In the Gospels it is written that Jesus
spent more time talking about money and possession than He did any other
subject. He knows that unless He has our heart, our mind and our
pocketbook, He does not have a true disciple. He also knows it's tough
to give ownership of what we have to Him. Pray about what God would
have you play in the capital campaign effort. Let us learn the awesome
eternal benefits of sowing into God's work on earth.
