GROUND
BREAKING AND
DEDICATION OF CONSTRUCTION - July 26, 2006
What a great celebration!!!
We sang praise to God. The City of Merced's Mayor Ellie Wooten
encouraged us on establishing a "command post" for vital ministry in Merced.
We turned dirt. We prayed. We believe that this ground
and the building that will rise here is an act of God. We are following
in obedience to His direction. Our desire is to continue to build
on the foundation of His ministry to date and to commit ourselves to obedience
to His ministry in the future. May this site and the facilities which
He will establish be used always according to His will and for His glory.

CONCRETE IN COURTYARD - Thursday, April 6, 2006
God was gracious! During
a break in the rain workers were able to pour concrete in the courtyard.
On Sunday, April 9th,
after the Service of Worship we all came together in the courtyard
for a ribbon cutting and a prayer of praise, thanksgiving, and dedication.
Praise God! Most exciting was to watch the children, as
the first to go onto the new concrete, running and jumping and playing.
Already the new concrete has proven to be a ministry asset.

CHURCH WORK DAY - Saturday, April 1, 2006
30 plus people came together
for the removal of concrete planters in the Courtyard, cleaning
and organizing of storage rooms, removal and storage of stuff under
the stage, stuff in the upstairs rooms, anything else that is not actively
needed in the Sanctuary/Gym. This was great fun playing with
power tools, tractors, jack hammers, and other stuff. It was
great to be together. Lunch was awesome. Thank you to everyone
who participated.
